Tencent CDC, the full name "Customer Research & User Experience Design Center", was started in 2003 and was formally established in May 2006. It is a Tencent company-level design team, distributing Shenzhen, Beijing and Chengdu. In the three places, we are committed to enhancing the user experience of Tencent products and exploring innovations in the Internet ecological experience.
Shenzhen Science and Technology Association
Shenzhen Science and Technology Association (SZSTA) was founded in May 1982, and then set up a number of science and technology institutes. MOE Research Center for Online Education

Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab
Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab (SZOIL), established by SIDA and Maker Collider,is a space and platform for worldwide makers to communicate and cooperate. SZOIL is also the first Fab Lab in Shenzhen authorized by MIT CBA as a research and development partner of FabLab 2.0. SZOIL embodies four functions including Fab Lab promotion and FabLab 2.0 research and development, innovation and entrepreneur education courses for makers, global maker service platform, and industry chain collaboration service.
Situated in the heart of Shenzhen, China, x.factory is a new maker hub where making, connecting, and innovating happen with an open source spirit. x.factory is operated by Chaihuo Maker Space, Shenzhen’s first and leading maker space since 2011, and partnered with Seeed Studio, an open source hardware company that has been serving the global maker community since 2008.
Seeed is a hardware innovation platform for makers to grow inspirations into differentiating products. By working closely with technology providers of all scale, Seeed provides accessible technologies with quality, speed and supply chain knowledge. When prototypes are ready to iterate, Seeed helps productize 1 to 1,000 pcs using in-house engineering, supply chain management and agile manufacture forces. Seeed also team up with incubators, Chinese tech ecosystem, investors and distribution channels to portal Maker startups beyond.
The SDGo competition is a SDG problem solving competition. SDGs refers to the Sustainable Developement Goals proposed by the United Nations. In the competition, participants will identify real-life SDG problems, look for references and propose solutions. The two month competition is a comprehensive learning experience, where participants develop the abilities of observation, study, research, creating and collaboration, 21st century skills that we deem necessary for resolving the global goals.
XuetangX is the world's first Chinese MOOC platform, authorized to operate edX courses in the Chinese mainland. Founded by Tsinghua University, it also provides a platform for research and application of MOE Research Center for Online Education.

The Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity
The Center for Research and Interdisciplinary (CRI) was founded in 2005 as a convivial place at the crossroad of life sciences, learning and digital sciences. Today, the CRI offers three degree programs integrated in the Bettencourt curriculum. The CRI’s main role is to promote new educational techniques and strategies to empower the students to take initiative and develop their own research projects. Mentors, research institutions, private companies, and foundations, such as the Bettencourt Foundation, provide the support for the student-created research projects and activities.
