The Tsinghua Open FIESTA (Tsinghua SIGS Global Summer School) invites innovative international undergraduate students from different backgrounds to come together for a 4-day challenge-based innovation workshop and hackathon. It provides an excellent opportunity for you to participate in interactive learning by tackling challenging tasks related to the UN SDGs. In 2024, inspired by our international partner University of Geneva and Learning Planet Institute, we are glad to join the 2024 SDG Olympiad and addressing some of the most pressing sustainability issues in their region.

Professors and experts in related fields will mentor and guide students to collaboratively work in groups to develop interdisciplinary solutions by applying cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, open hardware, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, and more. Students will brainstorm, focus on a current societal problem, and develop solutions (or prototypes if possible) addressing one of the Sustainable Development Goals related to one of our master's programs and the overarching topic of 2024 SDG Olypiad "Planetary Health". The specific focused SDGs of workshop is TBD and TBA.

Students major in the following fields and are interested in applying to the BIO³ master program (Bio-Nano-Info) or IID master program (Internet+Innovation Design) in 2025.

· BIO³ master program:

Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Material Engineering, Electronic Engineering and other related majors

· IID master program:

Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Social Sciences, Economic Management, Finance, Industrial Design and other related majors
